Salt Evaporation Ponds?
Isn't this amazing? These vivid colors and interesting patterns are the result of harvesting salt in evaporation ponds. The different colors occur because micro-organisms' hues change with the degree of salinity of the water. Read the entire article here on www.colourlovers.com.
